It was a cute place, with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. There was also dishes and silverware. The bed was comfortable. A storm came through and knocked out the cable. I called the facility and one of the staff was there, in a minute to reset it. They both worked fine, after that.

My girls and I wanted a relaxing and peaceful vacation and that is exactly what we had. The view from the house is spectacular and the owners are truly amazing people who want to make sure you have everything you need. There were breakfast amenities so you could go about your day as planned. The art and gardens were a beautiful backdrop for great pictures. Great view of the mountains! Small town with friendly people. Music in the park! Shopping for unique items in flea markets and antique shops. Our best time to go is the folk festival in the spring and the bean festival in the fall.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

The town was so delightful, with several things that we would have liked to explore more. We went to the park to enjoy folk music jam sessions. It was such an enjoyable place. The community seems to be very invested in making their town a wonderful place to be!

Ozark Folk Center was an unexpectedly wonderful place to find one-of-a-kind gifts. My group bought arrows wrapped in rattlesnake skin, pottery, fused glass pieces and (in the main shop) lots of unusual jams and jellies. Lunch at the iron Skillet was nice. The City Park is nearby and is quite interesting with old stonework and lovely paths by the stream. In another week the leaves there will be on full fall display! The unassuming Mexican restaurant by the Dollar Store was a FABULOUS find! I had the cucumber salad with chicken that had a cheese sauce. It was AMAZING! We loved Mountain View Guest Motel/RV Park. It was quiet with lovely views and was amazingly clean.

Sorry I did not get to use the pool. Parking is in front of each unit. Easy access to the attractions in Mountain View. I spoke to DC, the owner about the lack of grab bars in the tub, and he said that he had a shower chair I could have used (wish I had known). The guy at the front desk was sloppy looking and I was uncomfortable checking in. After settling in for the night we were pleased with the bed and quiet time they established throughout the park. The town of Mountain View is small and there is no big name hotels, so we had limited choices of hotels/motels. I am glad that we chose this motel.
