There are some very rude people in cody Wy. They do not like tourists. They will cuss at you on the road , they will ride your bumper, yell obscenities to you. It's sad , with out tourists, cody wouldn't be what it is today. I used to love cody , until the residents started being more than rude to people from other states. If we stopped coming to cody, wondering how much of a ghost town would cody turn into.

I am from Wyo. and am in Cody frequently, so I can't really comment on length stayed. We are usually in Cody for things that "normal" travelers are not. We are here for sports, to see friends, and other such things.

I loved the location, the motel itself and the rooms were great. Couldn't ask for anything better and the value for the cost was fantastic. I had mixed reactions for the staff. The gentleman who checked us in for the evening was great. Seemed to go out of his way explaining things and getting us into the room we booked online. However, the lady working the desk in the morning double charged my credit card by mistake (according to her) but didn't attempt to fix the charge even though she knew she had made the mistake. The manager had to be called to make adjustments and I'm still waiting for the adjustment to be cleared after 4 days.

We were there toward the end of the season.
We were there toward the end of the season. Our purpose was to go to the Whitney Western Art Museum in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. It actually had 5 museums and we went to four of them. My husband loved the Buffalo Bill museum. I did love the Whitney, but also the Natural History Museum. In addition, Cody is only 58 miles from the East entrance to Yellowstone, and the drive there is spectacular. We had not planned on going, but we did end up spending a full day there. Cody is definitely worth a stop.

Prices very high.
Prices very high. Got the impression people there liked you only for what you would spend. Very crowded. No place to eat because of the glut of people there. The Buffalo Bill Museum of the West was good. Enjoyable time spent there. The Chief Joseph Highway was awesome. Otherwise, the rest of this highly priced resort town is not for me. I will not return.

Excellent gateway location for the East Entrance Road in Yellowstone National Park. Also, a good starting point for Chief Joseph Scenic By-way and Beartooth Scenic Highway. There are so many things to see and do around Cody that one trip is certainly not enough!
NOTHING!!
Property does not have an elevator! Carting luggage up stairs to our second floor room was not easy. We are an elderly couple, when we asked for a first floor room, the person at the front desk said one was not available for the price. The hotel was by no means booked.
Our room is very musty smelling. They sprayed it twice but the odor prevails.
Thank goodness we are only here for one night. Next time we’ll stay at the Best Western down the street!
Great location, Cody is the best town to stay in on the Eastern entrance. The ride to Yellowstone is phenomenal. The housekeeping staff did a terrific job! Every day we came home (for 6 days) our room was cleaned, restocked and cool. A fresh cup of coffee was always available. Ice machine outside my door was handy. Parking is easy and convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel. Very comfortable for the entire week.
Not bad. We spent only one night, didn't have enough time to enjoy our staying. We chose this hotel because of the great and convenient location. Complimentary breakfast and parking. Beds were comfortable, and nobody was complaining about it.
Once you get into the lobby, you will notice a safari area. My family wasn't excited about all those animals around during breakfast time...
Thank you. We quickly found a hotel that is most conveniently located for travelers. We managed to wash things, these amenities are provided here. There is not a big breakfast. The bed is comfortable. In the morning you can go out and meet the sunrise, a beautiful landscape around. And it should also be noted that the historical landmark of the memorial square is very close.
The quality of the meals is very good! The convenience of staying at a beautiful, historic hotel with a beautiful spacious dining room, friendly efficient staff and a nice pub area is unparalleled in the area. Like the option of not having to leave the hotel! Like the location as well. This is our new February tradition no matter what the weather!
It was a really great hotel. It was like a small museum. The kids enjoyed observing the taxidermy.
It is the best hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.
The heated pool is available for children until 10pm and adults until midnight. They also had equipment in place to enter the pool for caregivers. Excellent.
Room was very clean and suited our needs well. I loved that we were on the east side of Cody, near the canyon and away from downtown but not too far away. The relaxed "older, more western type" feel of the motel is what I wanted. I had stayed here before and wanted to this time also.
Staying in the hotel was an experience in itself! The authentic ambience and character was exceptional! We would definitely stay at the Chamberlin Inn if in Cody again. Breakfast was good and the proximity to town made such a short stay very convenient.
Beautiful property with a great veiw and close to down town. Small log cabins are cozy, well equipped, and very very clean! Staff is friendly and helpful. Simple hotel with a lot of charm! Competitive pricing for the area! Will stay again!
Hotel outside of town near 3 lakes, birdwatching, nice easy breakfast with great coffee. 1/2 hr from elk, buffalo, eagles, pronghorn and gorgeous Wyoming scenery and much more. Love Cody
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was for the breakfast bar. It was definitely a good choice for this reason. Everything was good but I felt the sausage patties were under cooked.
The best hotel in Cody. Very clean room and the view of the mountains was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again. Very recommended 😊
