Location was great, especially if you plan to take Keisei line as it’s just a few steps away from the hotel. But if you need to take JR line or CUM, you have to walk to Chiba station, which is about 5-8 mins away. Not bad but we had 2 luggage’s and a stroller, I would have transferred to Chibachuo station instead if I redo it.
Very clean room as well. They also provide bottled water and replenish it. They also replenished the supplies, like toothbrush, etc.

Chiba zoo was great for my toddler. Chiba park was a nice walk but not stroller friendly. We thought Chiba was a very nice place to stay but there isn’t a lot of stuff to do. We will explore southern Chiba next time.

Chiba City is a charming destination with much to offer, but it's important to note that some establishments, like hotels, may have strict check-in and check-out times, which can be inconvenient for longer stays. Nonetheless, the city itself has a lot to explore, from its rich cultural heritage to modern attractions like Disney Land. It's worth planning your visit accordingly to make the most of this vibrant and diverse city.

The hotel is in Makuhari Messe with its exhibition centre.
The hotel is in Makuhari Messe with its exhibition centre. If you are going to an event/exhibition at Makuhari Messe then the area is good, otherwise it has no merits. For tourists better to stay in Tokyo proper. With a car there are a lot of attractive places to visit in Chiba, mainly in the Boso Peninsula but this hotel is a poor location as a base for Chiba travel. The only reason I booked there was that I had some local business.

Chiba is not as crowded as Tokyo.
Chiba is not as crowded as Tokyo. Sufficient interesting places closeby to visit such as the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple , Naritasan Park and Sakura Ruins Castle Park. Lots of places to do shopping with reasonable price and not overly crowded. Shisui Premium Outlets is easy to get too for shopping of branded goods.

Chiba is great location .
Chiba is great location . Makuhari is a very spacious and clean city. Everything you need is at the shopping centres nearby. Beach and bay are nearby. Peaceful walks with trees can be found, and parks. trains easily accessible. Events happening at Marine Stadium and Convention Halls. Tokyo City approx 30-40 mins by train.
My family loves to have staycations, and this hotel is a good place to stay if you want to relax and have a good time. We enjoyed the indoor pools on the first night of our stay. We wanted to use it again on our second night, but since the outdoor pool is open only this summer, we had it instead. We enjoyed the night swimming! The hotel is near the premium outlet, so we were able to go shopping too. And the garden/park nearby is also a must see.
It is conveniently located 1 or 2 minutes away from JR Chiba Station and the Monorail. My stay came with breakfast and the food was okay, it wasn't bad and it wasn't special either. There was a typhoon during my stay so I wasn't able to go out to explore the city but luckily their VOD was free of charge so I was able to kill time by watching movies.
Loved the convenience of the property! Covered walk to the convention. All needs are covered IN the hotel! Food was amazing at the restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bus came straight from airport! Super convenient
I only stayed for a short period as I had to go to an event.
But the people were very kind during check in and check out.
The room was quite big!
A monorail station is nearby towards Chiba Minato. From here it is easy to reach Makuhari station!
The room itself was incredibly large for what I'm used to for stays in Japan. The hotel has a retro charm to it and the view from the rooftop restaurant/bar is really something. Love that it's a quick walk to the convention center.
The room is well equipped. The breakfast was great. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The location is absolutely perfect just 2 minutes walk from the airport. There are convenient stores and restaurants around the hotel.
I like the extra facilities available when staying there, like the bath and the vending machine. I also like the distance of the hotel from the station. My room also offers free VODs on the tv for when I am resting in the room.
It was great place to get the Makuhari Messe.
Also there is subway station(Kaihimmakuhari) nearby the hotel.
There is many restaurants near the hotel and subway station, so I didn't have to think about what to eat.
The location was very central to Chiba station, which is well connected to the station I wish to get to, as well as to the airport. The vicinity also has quite a lot of food options and grocery stores.
It's 3 mins away from Keises Chiba-chuo station and lots of shops around. Stayed here for a couple of days and it was good. The bathroom was also bigger than most of the hotels around.
The location was great. Close to Chiba Station, all amenities, Chiba Shrine, city center, and the parks. Chiba was peaceful compared to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima and Himeji.
the hotel facility and building met our expectation and the location is super.
the hotel staff were doing their best to facilitate our stay to the best of it.
Location is excellent with close proximity to Chiba railway station. Breakfast menu was way above expectation. One of the best in my frequent Japan visits.
The location is great! Need the Chiba station.
The reception speaked good English and had been very helpful with my luggage transfer.
Thank you so much!
