Located next to the historic center on Puerta de Toledo, this smart hotel has a great breakfast buffet and a lounge bar perfect for relaxing in after visiting the sights. The location was great, and the bedrooms were a great size. I would definitely stay here again, it’s close to everything and the metro is right there.

This conveniently located hotel is set near Madrid’s transport hubs of Álvaro Mendez and Atocha – terminal for the AVE high-speed lines. Great hotel with friendly/helpful staff! We loved staying here because it was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and very close to the train station. In fact... we could see the hotel from the train when we arrived! Taxis were available at the door almost continuously. When we were catching a taxi, the driver didn't know English and I didn't know enough Spanish... it was the day of the marathon and he was trying to explain it was basically impossible to get where we were planning. So we went to the front desk and one of the staff translated and helped us plan how to get where we wanted to go... we walked, but it was a lot of fun seeing parts of the city we would not have otherwise seen. Plus we stopped to watch part of the marathon. Great breakfast the following morning and quick ride to the airport from it. Great place to stay!

Bob W Arte offers accommodations in Madrid, a 12-minute walk from Reina Sofia Museum and 3.4 miles from Retiro Park. The Polaroid camera which was free to use gave us a few beautiful gems to hang on to. The French Press and courtesy pouch of coffee was a lovely touch. These were really personal touches that I loved. We were 5 - 10 mins late leaving and met the cleaner exiting. She was so nice to meet and say goodbye to. Location was great. Bus stops and Metro close by. Lime scooters can be used and takes you to Gran Via in about 8 mins. Retiro is close and if your not lazy the center is easy to walk in to. I would 100% stay here again if I am coming to Madrid, and would consider Bob W wherever I go.
