Otaornai Backpacker's Hostel Morinoki is for free and independent travelers in Hokkaido Otaru. No good for small group or family. The breakfast was really good. Highly recommend! Friendly staff. The location is a short walk from the center. The room was good.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who comes to niseko/kutchan, whatever the season.

Great staff : Miwa and Tatsuya are super friendly and helpful ! (don't worry the rest of the staff are also great :D) Was a great spot to meet people and also close to downtown. Would stay there again and recommend it to anyone !

Located in Shari, 41 km from Abashiri Port, HOTEL BOTH provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. A good option as a gateway to start the Shiretoko park experience. We stayed one night on the way to the park in a twin room. The room was specious and very clean. With a big window facing the garden. On the same floor there are also dorm sleep boxes with shared bathroom and kitchen. All in all we liked the place and wanted to extend the stay but it was fully booked.

The communication with the owner was very easy and I always received a fast reply. The rooms were clean and the Tatami mats and fouton beds very comfortable. All shared rooms were very clean as well! Highly recommend this place.
