Richard met us at the door when we arrived on the property. We took a taxi from the Wight Link ferry pier to the property - Ryde Taxi is lovely! The apartment was within walking distance to the beach, high street, grocery store and public transportation. We didn't have a car and didn't need one. There was coffee, tea, milk and biscuits to welcome us at the apartment. The location was quiet, clean and had a full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. There wasn't a dryer; however, there was a very handy clothes horse in the closet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shanklin! Thank you, Richard! We hope to be back again in the future!

The late night toasties saved our lives :) We had our best English breakfast (fresh products and prepared with care) of the whole holidays. The rooms are very comfortable in which we slept like babies.

Very homely, great room, great location (short walk to the beach) and a fantastic host, who provided lots of useful guidance and suggestions for our visit. And breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommended!

Offering views of the nearby sailing boats, Villa Rothsay Hotel is located in Cowes, Isle of Wight. Free WiFi access is available, as well as free parking. Excellent breakfast. Better than that at the Royal Hotel in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. Also, Margaret gave me a list to the ferry terminal.

Offering a restaurant and a tennis court, The Garlic Farm also boasts free WiFi access and free on-site parking. The cottage was so cute and had everything we needed. We loved the grounds and all of the family activities.

Ward Avenue B&B is just 5 minutes’ walk from Cowes High Street and its port, where ferries leave for Southampton. This charming guest house offers attractive rooms and a full English breakfast. Clean quiet great breakfast and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Quick walk to main part of town.

The family-run Braemar offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Old Town Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, only a few minutes walk to the cliff path & the Esplanade, with free parking and excellent... There wasn't anything in particular but Just a perfect few days away with Friends at a lovely B&B hosted by a lovely couple (Boz and Claire).
