This hotel is excellent for the price. Location is excellent, room is large and comfortable. Pool is nice, even if small and the sunscreen for free is a nice touch. We moved to the Westin, 3 X the price if you book oceanfront. Save the money, enjoy the beach and location.

VIVE Hotel Waikiki is a 100% nonsmoking boutique hotel, just 7 minutes’ walk from Waikiki Beach, offers free WiFi and modern guest rooms with mountain, city or ocean views. Diamond Head is 2 mi away. They staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay! They received us with the most delicious pineapple juice that Ive ever tried and also, they provided us with a beautiful room for our honeymoon. One of the best things about the hotel are the beach stuff they provide during the stay.

Char’s place is amazing by any account! The localisation is breathtaking, the view from balcony directly to the ocean is something you can’t get enough of and the apartment is delightfully decorated, with all the necessary amenities (and much more). The private pool is also pretty cool, but when you got sort of a private beach by the ocean, you don’t even use the pool that much. Also the neighbours are very nice and helpful. West Oahu is simply beautiful.

Room was spacious, with modern design and a gorgeous balcony that overlooked the hills of Oahu and even a part of the ocean. Nice modern and spacious bathroom as well. The valet staff were so helpful with letting us drop our car off multiple times per day as we shuttled between activities around the island and our hotel room. And the pool area was lovely as well. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Honolulu.

Incredible location! Only 2 min from the beach in a street with nice shops and good restaurants. Rooms are ok, a bit dated, but clean and with a good view. We stayed here for 9 nights and the Staff was absolut wonderful and helpsome all the time. We never experienced any bad or negative situations. The hotel provide the cheapest overnight/week valet parking in Waikiki (as far as we experienced). We had a late evening flight out of Oahu at check-out day and the hotel stored our luggage and offered us towels so we could use the pool and showers the entire day. A very nice and appreciated gesture. The Pool is on 27th floor with a great view. I warmly recommend the hotel and will stay here again if I ever return to Waikiki. Price/room/location/staff 10/10.
