Located 5 minutes' drive from Tolovana Beach State park, this Cannon Beach property provides free Wi-Fi and breakfast. A refrigerator and a microwave are included in rooms. The room was so comfy and adorable! We loved how big and thoughtfully designed the bathroom was. The spa tub and shower were both huge and we loved them. It was nice that the toilet area had a separate door for extra privacy, which was helpful while we were both getting ready for a wedding. We loved the fireplace and all the extra touches provided. We were pleasantly shocked the available DVD choices in the DVD library! So many new releases and popular movies. It felt as comprehensive as a Blockbuster, and honestly better than any options in a single streaming service. This hotel is low key, while also being perfect for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the general vibe of the grounds, and the bunnies. I saw a review before booking that someone felt like the hotel was like summer camp for adults, and I completely agree, but in the best way!

It was a delightful way to start my mornings and provided the perfect fuel for my day of exploration. What truly sets the Ocean House apart, though, is the serenity it offers. It's an incredibly quiet place, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I found myself relaxing like never before, with nothing but the soothing sounds of the ocean to accompany me. And let's not forget the view! The ocean view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular. I spent countless hours gazing out at the horizon, watching the waves roll in and feeling completely mesmerized by the beauty of nature. It's a view that truly enhances the overall experience of staying at the Ocean House. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. In conclusion, I can't recommend the Ocean House hotel enough. It's a hidden gem that offers a unique combination of proximity to the ocean, delicious breakfasts, tranquility, and breathtaking ocean views. If you're looking for a perfect getaway, this is the place to be.

We were able to work remotely from our room without any connection issues. The unit does feel like a residential condo that you could live in a for a while and call home. The area is really quiet and surrounded by trees, making for a very different hotel experience than one would find elsewhere in Newport, such as the Nye Beach area.

We stayed in one of the apartments in the White Heron Lodge, and it was an excellent base from which to explore Cannon Beach and the northern Oregon coast! We loved the fireplace and full kitchen, and appreciated to option to use the murphy bed in the living room. And the view! We had a constant view of crashing waves.
